Coming to Pine Hills with a one and three record our Mitey Mites came and played with a strong and positive attitude. The wind down of the clock during the fourth quarter found the Mitey Mites Silver offense directed by Dan Flowers driving for a tying touchdown but the clock ticked away before the drive was completed for a final score of - Pine Hills 12 / Eagles 6. Michael Sampson had an excellent game. Continually pounding the line and penetrating Pine Hills backfield. Driven by Coach Shane McGregor's defense that did an excellent job all game by holding Pine Hills to mostly short gains. Gabriel Negrete had an awesome game by making open field tackles and showing us his usual good running style. Spencer Jordan also, had some spectacular open field carries to the outside for good gains. The blue offense motivated by Coach Tim Blackwell moved the ball and have showed their increased growth and knowledge with each game since the beginning of the season. This game saw the return of Blake Cornell after a broken ankle-Glad to see you back Blake! Excellent job by all Mitey Mite players and parents! We are fired up and looking forward to the University game!
