Unacceptable Behavior Policy and Directive

Re; Adult and Player Behavior

1. At any New Lake Football and Cheer event, practice or competition, any adult or player who:

    1. Verbally abuses.
    2. Attempts to intimidate.
    3. Is flagrantly rude.
    4. Cannot control their language or actions with an official, player, coach, or  League volunteer.
    5. Smells of alcohol or seems impaired.
  • Will be asked to leave the New Lake Football and Cheer event immediately. He or she will receive a written warning regarding their behavior. His or her     child(ren) or Player will be immediately removed from that current event.

  • 2. Any adult or Player that commits a second similar offense will be banned from New Lake Football and Cheer events for the remainder of that season / program and their child(ren) or player removed from New Lake Football and Cheer for the remainder of that season. New Lake Football and Cheer will refund registration monies pro-rated based on the percentage of the season remaining and equipment furnished.

    3. Any adult or player who physically assaults an official, a coach, referee, director, facility manager, scorekeeper, clock keeper or any New Lake Football and Cheer volunteer or player will be banned from New Lake Football and Cheer and their child removed from all New Lake Football and Cheer programs for one year from the date of the offense. After one year, the parent may apply for re-instatement of his or her child. If the adult or player commits a second offense, he or she will be permanently banned from New Lake Football and Cheer and the child(ren) of the adult permanently placed on New Lake Football and Cheer ineligibility list.

     

    The term physical assault includes, but is not limited to: hitting, slapping, pushing, spitting, kicking or striking in any way with any part of the body or any physical implement.
